Head of Microsoft’s Windows Insiders program, Dona Sarkar explains that “Whatever changes are made by the apps to the files within a particular protected folderis regularly monitored by the Controlled folder”.This feature will sendthe users a notification message tonotify that the app has attempted to make changes to the protected files resulting into the blacklisting of the app. This upcoming feature “Controlled folder”is especially designed for the end-to-end security against the viruses attacks and ransomware affects.
